Vintage Singer Butchers Block / Side Table

Vintage craft, solid function 

A one-of-a-kind butcher’s block built on an original Singer sewing machine base. The cast iron frame keeps its original patina, with the treadle mechanism still working. Finished with new solid wooden wheels.

Topped with a 4-inch thick reclaimed acacia butcher’s block, bolted and dowelled for strength. Finished in food-grade oil, making it perfect as a prep station, butcher’s block, or side table.

Material Conditions

• Our furniture is crafted mainly from locally reclaimed hardwood. Made to last and designed to stand out with character and charm.
• Because we work with real, solid wood, no two pieces are ever exactly the same. Each one has its own natural color, grain pattern, and texture that make it truly unique.
• Features like knots, small cracks, holes, or splits are a normal part of solid wood, they’re not flaws, but natural details that reflect the wood’s history and authenticity.
• Over time, slight movement between wooden planks may occur due to changes in humidity, temperature, or environment. This is a natural response of solid wood and part of what gives it life. It’s not considered a defect or reason for return.
