Crafted from solid Raintree, this distinctive bench celebrates the traditional Japanese technique of Shou Sugi Ban. The handcrafted base and parts of the thick sculpted top have been carefully charred, creating a dramatic contrast with the rich natural grain that flows across the top.
Protected with a durable water based polyurethane finish, it works equally well as a bench, hallway seat or statement side table.

Material Conditions
- Our furniture is crafted mainly from locally reclaimed hardwood. Made to last and designed to stand out with character and charm.
- Because we work with real, solid wood, no two pieces are ever exactly the same. Each one has its own natural color, grain pattern, and texture that make it truly unique.
- Features like knots, small cracks, holes, or splits are a normal part of solid wood, they’re not flaws, but natural details that reflect the wood’s history and authenticity.
- Over time, slight movement between wooden planks may occur due to changes in humidity, temperature, or environment. This is a natural response of solid wood and part of what gives it life. It’s not considered a defect or reason for return.
